Demonstrate debugging a Python C++ extension using VS Code

NOTE: The following steps are intended to be run in a remote desktop session on the Negishi cluster.

Initial session - prepare environment - one time only

Open a terminal
Enter git clone org-683@github.itap.purdue.edu:KubisGroup/py-cpp-debug.git
Change dir into the repo's base dir. (`cd py-cpp-debug')
Run source setup.sh
Run source open.sh
In VS Code, ensure you have the "Python" and "C++" extensions installed, both from Microsoft
In VS Code, install the "Python C++ Debugger" extension by using search term: "benjamin-simmonds.pythoncpp-debug"

Set breakpoints in Python and C++ code at lines indicated by comments.
Open the main.py file and make sure it is active (displayed).
In "Run and Debug" panel, run the "Python C++ Debug" config to stop at the first Python breakpoint.
Inspect values of Python code variables.
Press F5 to continue the debugger.
In the small debug control window, select the "(gdb) Attach" process from the dropdown menu. The C++ breakpoint should hit.
Inspect values of C++ code variables.
Press F5 to continue. The second Python breakpoint should hit.
