Purdue checklist

The use of PurdueThesis is now required for students using LaTeX to author their thesis/dissertation and planning to deposit beginning with this (Spring 2021) term.

Few tips on Purdue specific disseration formating:

Book a session with the disseration office to go through some of the formatting requirement beforehand to avoid any last minute surprises. Since you're using \LaTeX I expect them to be quite minor
Table caption have to be on top of the table
Chapter heading should all be in caps

\textsubscript{} for subscript
\textasciitilde to put in tilda
~\ref{appendixsub:PtMgOMKM} -- to refer a section / table / fig / appendix
Refer a figure in the main text. Fig~\ref{fig:kinetics} -- make sure to use \label{} in the \figure
